When I was 12 my dad bought me THOR, THE INCREDIBLE HULK, and SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN while I was in the hospital. He created a monster. I entered the comic book industry at age 26 and never looked back. It’s a crazy but very satisfying place to be creative.
Later influences included ELFQUEST, HEAVY METAL, JOHNNY THE HOMOCIDAL MANIAC, THE CROW, and Kaori Yuki’s entire oeuvre (especially ANGEL SANCTUARY and GODCHILD).
